The building, conceived as artist housing, draws from the surrounding industrial context by reinterpreting factory vernacular through gabled massing and a restrained material palette adapted for a creative live-work environment. The 104-unit residential program is organized above one level of podium parking, with retail activating the frontage along Las Vegas Boulevard. Welded wire panels extend along the roofline to screen equipment while supporting programmable lighting that activates the silhouette, with the option for solar integration. A dark cladding strategy establishes contrast, allowing murals, neon, and tenant lighting to read prominently. Transparency at the primary corner and along Las Vegas Boulevard blurs the boundary between interior and public realm, while a vertically expressed stair wrapped in translucent panels makes circulation visible. Color is integrated as an architectural system, with distinct tones reinforcing movement and identifying shared spaces.
