Desert Torah Academy

Desert Torah Academy, DTA, is a K – 12, 65,000 SF two-story concrete tilt building with a full Gym, Cafeteria, Library, Science Lab, Classrooms, and Administration Offices. The school, started in 1990 by Rabbi Shea and Dina Harlig outgrew their home in an old house on the property, and in 2008 we asked to design their new home. Thanks to generous donations by the Cohen family trust and the efforts of the Rabbis and Wayne Krygier, construction began in 2010, and the school officially opened in 2011. We are currently working on an 8 classroom expansion that should break ground summer of 2021.
